The Huron Housing & Redevelopment Authority

We at Huron Housing Authority are working to make our site accessible to people with disabilities.

The Redevelopment Commission was created by the City of Huron in 1969 to address the housing needs of the citizens of the city of Huron and Beadle County. As a result, we are supported by the city but privately managed and we derive our tax exempt and non-profit status from that designation, although we receive no money from the city. We are not a part of the city budget in any way, and we are not supported by tax dollars. We are a stand-alone organization.
